Some people are born with the urge to take things apart just to understand how they work. I was one of those kids. I still remember the look on my father's face when he found his radio disassembled on the garage floor — every wire, every component laid out like a puzzle I was determined to solve. I got in trouble that day, but I never lost the curiosity.

That same drive — to understand, to build, to create something out of nothing — is what eventually led to RandE Works. What started as a lifelong passion grew into a craft, and that craft grew into something I'm proud to share with the world.

The moment it all came together was while I was serving as a Drill Instructor on Parris Island. I wanted a specific project made — something meaningful — but the seller had a six-month waiting period. Six months. That wasn't going to work. So I did what any Marine would do: I took matters into my own hands. I started crafting my own plaques and mementos, and what surprised me most wasn't just that I could do it — it was how quickly I could do it, and how good it felt to deliver something real, on a reasonable timeline, with my own two hands.
